Trekking on Ceausescu's Road

On Sunday, November 14, we make a lively trek with trekking poles starting from Azuga to Susai chalet at 1400m altitude , through Azugii valley , accompanied almost all the way by the whisper of the river of the same name then on Ceausescu's Road to the protocol chalet with return back to Azuga. The hike has a length of 20 km round trip , on the forest in Azuga, a level difference of 800m .

How much does it cost? 

150 RON / person (includes transport, guide, assistance)

Who is it for?

If you like picturesque mountain tours, if you think you are a hobbit or if you get lost in dreams with endless endless trails. The tour is of easy-medium difficulty, round trip route, 20 km, level difference 800m. Being a late autumn tour, it is possible to meet the snow on the route.

Mandatory to have: 

- backpack 

- clothes adapted to the conditions of that period (thick clothes - technical t-shirt, thermal blouse, fleece, jacket - onion leaf technique) 

-food and water for 1 day (snacks offered by the house) 

- raincoat

- waterproof boots 

- flashlight or headlamp, telephone light excluded

There is the possibility of making momentary decisions due to unforeseen causes such as: violent storms or bad weather. Decisions are made in groups, the final decision belonging to the guide. Everyone assumes responsibility for the facts if the decision is made to leave the group.
